Introduction                      Task

Introduction:

Team B would like to design an inquiry-based and interdisciplinary Web Quest by using the Internet as a tool to help students apply meaningful information on a particular topic. In doing so, students will use higher order critical thinking and problem solving skills in a collaborative setting. The cross-curricular unit will also incorporate concept-based curriculum as described in the textbook, Foundations of Curriculum and Instruction.

Task:

Your task will be to research and read about the solar system.  By doing this you will learn how components (parts) of curriculum form a body of knowledge that describes the solar system, as we know it today. You will read and examine the works of authors, scientist, and artist from around the world.  Next, you will write about what you have learned, publish it, and create your own Astronomy Portfolio.  It is Team B’s hope that at least one selection from each student will be posted on our Classroom Website.
